That's insane. If I had the cash, I'd grab 3-4 units and then resell them somewhere at high enough to make a decent return. Grab those suckers while supplies last!

(I'm totally envious of anyone who does get these, $40 for a full unit is a steal.

Wait, Bane Knights and Thralls are normally $80???

$8 each, yeah, not cheap. Was a factor in when I purchased Goreshade. Thankfully there was still the 6 man box when I picked him up.

The Bane Thralls have resin shoulders and are still fairly chunky metal bodies and axes.
The Bane Knights have waaay too many parts, so that probably is where their cost comes from.

PP seems to make a metal mold for each part in a model.
Knights are 3 bodies, sprue of 3 heads, back spines, shoulder pads, shields, spear arms, left arms.
Thralls are Bodies, axes, back spikes, resin shoulders.
Part count on metal models drives price up, I think.

$80 for a full unit of 10 pewter minis that are pretty sizable for infantry doesn't seem too bad to me. Size-wise, I think the Bane Thralls are about on par with Iron Fang Pikemen, and those fill their 30mm bases.

You also tend to (usually) only need one unit, unless you're spamming them.
