This is the latest battle report from Eastgrinstead Wargamers:

Hobbit SBG: Gimli's Dwarven Army vs Shagrats Tower Guard from Cirith Ungol

Two armies, who will win on the desolate slopes of Moria? The Mordor Uruk Hai led by Shagrat and Shelob, or Gimli and his Khazad Guard?

Very cool report! The Shelob model is stunning and looks super creepy descending from that rock wall! The rich blue on the dwarves is also very striking and looks great. It was fantastic to see Múrin and Drár in the army as I love them both.

If I can make one quibble (and I apologise if you know and willfully disregarded this!) as a pair of heroes who are bought together Múrin and Drár have to be fielded as part of the same warband (p.100 of the little rulebook, or p.5 of the Free Peoples book). It's a sort of dumb rule if you ask me, but there it is.

Thank-you for writing it and taking all the great photos!
