I have played a few games, haven't won many, which is okay since I am still in the learning stage. Here is my first 35 point list and I would like to know what people think. This is basically what I own (besides Grim, and a 2nd impaler). What other things should I get that would be a good addition to my army??

Not real sure how to help you but I think you need more beasts in your list. Your beasts generate fury and with only two on the table it's gonna be pretty easy to focus on them.

With what you have listed above, if you drop the Bushwhackers and one of the light trolls, you'd have enough points leftover to get Champions. Well worth considering, imo. You don't need the model that gives them overtake (Skaldi) since pMadrak can do that already, I believe. That would make this a pretty imposing brick, with a nice first wave unit in the fennblades buffed by the Chronicler. At some point you're going to want a Fell Caller but I couldn't figure out how to squeeze on in here (perhaps if you went with min Champions, but then I'd be tempted to upgrade to 2 heavy beasts instead of 1 heavy and 1 light).

Are you making your dire troll kit magnetized / swappable? I counted it as a Mauler, but between adding or not adding the Elder to the krielstone, and choosing between the Axer and Impaler (6 or 5 point).

You've got a nice opportunity to go Impaler/Bomber, or Axer/Mauler, for the same total points

pMadrak's Feat gives them overtake for a turn. I was thinking Champions or Long Riders for my next purchase...maybe I'll go with champions now.

I was counting the Dire Troll as a Mauler. And the hands are magnetized so it could be a bomber. You are right I do have a "nice importunity" to make a very different army.

For the point size you're running, while you *can* add another beast and be ok, you don't *need* to. pMadrak's Fury stat isn't bad, but it's not meant to absorb as much fury as a Doomshaper might.
