As much as I am sure most of the -=]_,=- would approve of your membership....there is a severe lack of rivets in your minis.

However, the possition of "Mascot" my be open, I'd have to check with Vik.

Hmmm.. well seeing as i am lazy and only skim read all the posts without pictures forgive me if i don't know what's going on entirely..

however i would like to say well done for your first attempts at mini painting, the wood elf is nice and the sanguinary guard is crisp and clean i would say a blue glaze wash on the wings would work a treat to bring out the detail a bit.. also have a play around with some highlighting etc. you seem quite capable enough to give it a go if you want to have a go at doing lightning on the power weapons i did a fairly simple tutorial on it some time ago: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/301897.page

Actually Bubbles...if you made a costume with rivets all over it, I would nominate you for membership on that alone. The costume would have to be extrordinary though, so no skimping on the rivets.

It's not that rivets are sexy, it's that we are more or less obsessed with them.

But it's all in the placement of said rivets too.

Rivets are a must to join the league, just dress up as a large rivet should work, after all we all got in and it was devised by Vik and Dave

No one said the rivets on the costume had to be metal. Are any of our rivets metal? Well, some are.

They could be made of anything, and painted to look metal. Heck you could use gundrops, and spray paint them metalic!

Well, it's just a mock-up, there is plenty of room for improvement and more rivets. But the -=]_,=- logo is not optional!

i think there was recently a discussion going on for a pimp chain with the leagues logo...
