I have a couple tournaments coming up and I am running a mech space wolves list. I've been hearing a lot of people talk about foot slogging their wolves. Foot sloggers and mech guys alike let me know your thoughts.

I'd go with pods.

The best of the both worlds.

I was going to say the same. For my 1850 list I think I have a unit outflanking, and 2 or 3 units in pods, and I think a big unit of blood claws in a landraider. I have 2 vindicators to cause some sweat on the other side too.

I'll go thirds on the drop pod suggestion as well. They are just so good in 6th. And space wolves have some of the nastiest things deploying out of the pods. On the vindicators, I think a lot of the fear from 5th edition has carried over to 6th. They are a nice destraction now but are removed from the game a lot easier IMO. And hey, if they are left alone. Vindicators gonna' do what Vindicarors do!

I need to return some video tapes.

+1 for drop pod.

However, you need to pay attention to the fact that if you rely on DPs, you will have very few scoring units in your deployment zone by the end of the game.
You either have to turn tail and run some GHs back to your table edge, or (what I do) have a small 6 man squad in a TL-LC razorback hiding in cover. They usually go unmolested, especially if you're in your opponent's face from turn 1 with DPs. This gives you a unit to slap on an objective by turn 4/5.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...

Pods are really good.

Rhinos are not bad either. Being able to move 18" a turn is very strong.

Yeah so the Battleforce would be a good choice for Space Wolves? Im thinking of starting Space Wolves? + are Thunder wolf cavalry any good and what role would they normally play? Centre of the force or flanking/distraction unit. For a Foot Wolves, do dudes like Arjac Rockfist and Lukas the Trickster count as HQ's?

2 reason for legging it:

1. You are not confined by maximum unit sice of 10.

2. Its mutch mutch easier ti paint.

AFAIK, no, they don't but I'm not sure if wolves have something allowing them.

About the SW battleforce, it's one of the best one, and you will actually use all the units.

2x10 GH and a pod are amazing.

Arjac rockfist and Lucas the Trickster are just glorified Wolf Guard and Blood Claw, respectively. Arjac does bring the thunder, though!

Back to the matter at hand. I really hate to think about giving up my rolling metal bawks. Also I'm a big fan of Lazorbacks.

For what its worth, I'd kick a puppy to have the chance to use non-FW drop pods for my CSMs.
