I'm fairly new to the wargaming world, I was introduced to it a few years ago by my good friend Fozalica. We hang out at our local GW store (Portola Plaza) sometimes, but I haven't got as many games in as I would like. I'm still a novice and I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the rules, so please be patient I'm trying to learn.

I play both WHFB and WH40K.

For WHFB I play:
1. Dwarves: I love their lore, they way the look etc. They're an army I will always play, even though I think their army book is a little long in the tooth.
2. Vampire Counts: This army I just started. I really look forward to playing them as it's a different play style than my dwarves i.e. I actually get a magic phase cavalry etc. Plus I also love the way these guys look, and well my mom says I keep the hours of a vampire so there must be something there
3. Beastmen: I don't own anything for this army yet, however this was the first army I wanted so that I could "switch sides" with; Vampires ended up getting updated first. I still want to play them though.

For WH40K:
1. Imperial Guard: I love me my tanks, need I say anything else?
2. I figured I should at some point jump on the Space Marine band wagon and see what the hype is all about. I have some models, enough for an allied detachment. I've narrowed my chapter down to the Blood Ravens. But I also liked the lore of the Iron Snakes, and the Storm Wardens.
3. The 3rd army I would choose for WH40K is Sisters of Battle, well because I'm an Imperialist anti-xenos bigot

I've mostly been moddeling/painting so I might post some pictures of what I've been working on. I feel this still needs work too, but I guess no ones an expert starting right?

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...
