Hi all.

My name's Dean and I've been playing Warhammer since 2nd edition (back when it was still Warhammer Fantasy Battle) and Warhammer 40,000 since 1st edition.

There have been a number of extended breaks along the way and I've skipped a version or two of the rules, but got back into both games about 7 years ago and have been slowly building/rebuilding armies ever since.

I've just started work on a blog about some of my projects which I will be adding to over the next few days and am interested in opinions on how I can improve my painting/modelling techniques, my forces and the blog itself.

At the moment the blog contains info on:
* My Warriors of Chaos army (which contains an eclectic mix of older and newer models as well as a scratch-built Hellcannon (featuring a guest appearance from Cthulhu!),
* My Space Marine army (again featuring a mix of older a newer models and some interesting vehicle conversions),
* Some modelling projects.
To be added over the next few days are:
* My Beasts of Chaos army,
* My Imperial Guard army (lots of 1st edition Imperial Army models, including female guardsmen and a now very rare Beastman Guardsman),
* More modelling projects,
* Some battle reports,
* Some tools/tips and utilities I've picked up over the years.

My blog can be found here: http://wargames-wasteland.blogspot.co.uk/

Updates should come fairly thick-and-fast over the next week or so as I upload a lot of details on older and completed projects.

I'm excited to join the Forum and looking forward to chatting with you all!

Cheers!

Thanks. If you like what you've seen so far, can I suggest you keep an eye on the blog?

I'm busy tearing down my old website and uploading the content into the blog - it will take me a while but there's all sorts of stuff going to get posted over the next couple of weeks including a scartchbuilt Ork Stompa, a scratchbuilt Warhound Titan, some more scenery pieces and various other bits and bobs too.

I'm new to blogspot, but I think you should be able to "subscribe by mail" and get an email from blogspot as and when I upload stuff.

Thanks again for your kind words

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Thanks to all who've taken the time to respond to my post and/or look at my blog. Your comments are very gratefuly recieved.

I've got a lot more to add to the blog over the coming weeks so keep an eye open, if you're interested. I added a post regarding my Giant model and my first ever scenery piece at the weekend and will try to get something else up today too.
