Can an allied troop take a dedicated transport either out of it's own codex or out of the allied codex?

Dedicated transports are options to units. Can units taken as allies select their own options and can they take options from another codex. This question is the same as the one you've asked hopefully the answers are now clear? Yes units taken as allies can take any options normally available to them. No they can not take options from another codex.

For even more clarity:

If I have a primary unit of Guard, and an allied detachment of Space Marines:

No, your CCS cannot take a Land Raider as a dedicated transport, and no, your Terminators cannot take chimera as a dedicated transport.

HOWEVER, yes obviously your allied terminators can take a landraider as a dedicated transport.

Allies cannot embark on each others transports. Ever. Not in deployment, not on the battlefield.
