I just wanted to know what games on steam are good for the PS3/Xbox360 as I want to get portal 2 on the PS3 and I dont know if it is good on the PS3. (I heard theorangebox is bad)

I like Left4Dead 2. I have it for XBox 360 but have not played it on the PC so I can't really compare. What I do know is that all of the DLC is free on PC but unfortunately MS doesn't do free so Valve actually has to charge for the DLC on XBox. Also L4D2 for PC has a bunch of maps that people have created that you can't get access to on XBox.

I've also have Portal 2 for XBox 360 as well and I haven't had any problems with it, unless you don't like playing FPS games with a controller. Again, no free DLC or access to the modding community.

The console versions are always going to be worse then the PC versions when it comes to content, graphical fidelity and controls.

Ignoring those issues though, Portal 1-2 and half-life 2 (+episodes) are all still amazing games regardless of platform. I bought the orange box ages ago. While Team fortress 2 on console is useless Half-life 2 and portal were both fantastic and I don't regret that purchase at all (it helps that my pc at the time was gak).

Simple advice I can give you, if you can get it on PC do that, if not, console is still a good option.

In a way. It's a PS3 game that got ported to PC and steam thus good PS3 game that's on steam.

Afaik, Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge would be a good port to PS3, or 360, provided you can find a copy near you or online.

IMO, Space Marine is pretty good on PC, and i haven't tried it on Xbox.

I just noticed that if I get a brand new copy of portal 2 on the PS3 I get a free copy on steam and i belive i can connect to steam via it (I dont know if i can do co-op with someone who is on a PC and im on a PS3)....we need someone who has bought portal 2 on the PS3
