He I want to possibly start a nurgle daemon army with the release of the new codex and I was wondering how to go about doing it. I just want to make a fluffy yet competitive army. Obviously plaguebearers for troops, but should i also include nurglings? Also what are some good nurgle hqs? I was thinking ku gath but probably not. Also I will definately be running the plague drones, just because the models are sweet

Im waiting for that. But other than the plague drones, I dont think there will be any new nurgle releases. So judging by what we have now, what would be competitive and fluffy?

Plague bearers are obvious, and I would assume that as long as Epidemius keeps his tally rule, he would be a key part of any nurgle army. Other than that it would all be conjecture though. For example I read a rumor that beasts of nurgle were going to be good in the new codex, but we don't know that for sure.

Honestly hard to speculate. Its like discussion rumors/wishes at this point.

I hope beasts of nurgle get better, because right now, theyre not very good and they have crappy models as well. I might just sculpt my own if the rules get better

I am ditching my current daemons, a mixture of Khorne, Slaanesh, and Tzeentch as I always wanted Papa Nurgle, but they just weren't viable in 5E and 6E nerfed the current incarnation into oblivion.

But the new ones look fun! Plus good conjecture that Chaos Spawn will be involved... and rolling beasts with T6 W3 at folks will be good, dirty hilarity!
