2000 point Emperors Will. Finally got my army completely painted up, only a couple minor details and finishing touches left. I hope you guys enjoy the game. I do apologize, I forgot to do tactics because it was late, but you get the idea .

Also, his death marks botched both deep strikes and on the second deep strike I was able to place them super far away from the action... I forgot to mention it.

Hope you enjoy

Good thing about the Green Tide is even when all they are doing is running for most of the game it still looks great. Nice batrep.

The best battle plans are the simplest. Just run forward and punch your enemy in the face.

Good lord that is a lot of orks. Nice report again
Probably ought to have been more aggressive with the courts to keep your objectives, could have forced a tie in the Necron's case assuming Immotehk didn't die. But that is a goofy matchup

I found a mistake in the report. You said a doom moon shot down your dakka jet. That is impossible, the doom gun is not capable of targeting fliers.

Other wise the necrons never stood a chance on that mission style.. Infact, they pretty much had a huge up hill battle. Good mission over all.

It is not impossible; Doom Scythes don't just have their Death Ray, they also have a TL Tesla Destructor which is very capable of targeting fliers.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Sorry for the confusion. The quad gun brought my flier down I believe. His doom scythes never targeted my fliers.

As is well! i just wanted to make sure you didn't make a mistake. Also i watched alot of your reports while i was painting. I like them, and think you do a good job, keeping it short and to the point. However, i consistently noticed a error, maybe i am just crazy, that everyone in your area is jink-ing damage. That is actually a wrong use of the rules. You are suppose to jink hits, because from what i heard you should have shot down a couple craft long ago. However, chaos is the only flier that doesn't have to jink, do to a invuln it has.

A example is - You are flying your craft along over the field full of orks. Oh no! the orks manage to get 5 hits on you! (Here as the ork player, you ask if they are going to jink) If they are not going to jink, then they take straight damage, and suffer the fate. Otherwise, they jink and then suffer jinking rules. Again chaos is the only exception to this - theirs is a save.

Well done, your green tide makes me as a ork player happy.

Interesting report. It appears your opponent was playing for a turn 6 as he had a scoring unit near his objective. I've been in that situation with my Eldar a ton of times; expose yourself on an objective in turn 5 and pray the game ends or likely get hit hard on turn 6.

Cool report overall and congrats on getting a green tide painted. I've painted one Ork army in my lifetime and most likely will never do it again. Great to finish, but a TON of work getting there.

Also, how long do your games take? Seems like a LOT of time to move all the models each and every movement and assault phase.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Necrons have it hard dealing with the green tide plus the list wasn't great to many expensive toys didnt have much stuff for a 2k list its to easy to go overboard on expensive teks and lords.

Cool batrep tho I'm green tides always look cool on the battlefield
