I learned about washing resin models before you build them but I had already built a few, is it ok to wash them as well or should I just skip them? Will the glue hold up in the soapy luke-warm water? Thanks!

Superglue should be fine unless you leave them immersed in hot water (but the resin will soften also if you do that.).

Warm water and a scrub with mild detergent with an old toothbrush is mainly to remove any left over mould release that will prevent paint sticking to the resin.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I haven't painted the ones that are built. I know that that's what washing them is for, I'm just wondering if it's ok to still wash them (even if they are built) before painting them or if I should just go ahead and paint.

Wash them.

Quick brush with some warm soapy water and a toothbrush is enough.

Superglue will be fine.
