Hey folks, was wondering if anyone knows any good priced places to buy airbrushes in the UK? i was just pricing up some stuff to maybe replace my ebay brush and the price difference between here and USA is serious, example:
*prices rouned to the nearest Dollar/GBP

Badger krome on on amazon.com is $137 (£90 current exchange rate)
on amazon.co.uk. the same brush is $237 (£157)
£67 difference

Iwata eclipse amazon.com $129 (£85)
amazon.co.uk $304 (£201)
£116 difference (this is just unbelievable)

thats a BIG difference in price, it would actually be cheaper for me to pay the postage from the US for the iwata i think i could order the same brush 3 times in seperate packeges and it would still be cheaper than the above price.
so are we being taken for mugs in the UK? if anyone can point me towards anywhere even reasonably priced, i would be very grateful.

thanks

That is extortionate..
I wish I could offer you an alternative, but it sounds like importing is the key here.

Iwata eclipse start at around £115 on everythingairbrush.co.uk

Seems a bit more reasonable, and they're a handy one-stop-shop for other bits of kit too.

I bought mine in everythingairbrush.com . Amazon is a bit hit and miss for technical stuff.

Cheers for the comments folks, i actually have one of those from RDG, but always find it to be very front heavy, for the price though it is indeed very good, actully you may have spured me to maybe look at the BD-200 or the BD-208 from them, maybe being all metal will balance it better and if i dont find it does what i want, im £30 out of pocket and not £130,

again, thanks for the replies, and some very nice stuff in your gallery also unforgiven.
