Baron joins the bigger team of Khymeras and the Haemy guide the Grotesques in Raiders, Baron is in to get a better chance to start since its really important to start with this army, allowing me to get real close with my raiders by going flat out to the ennemy, giving me a 4+ jink save and getting 2x big teams of grotesque and 2 teams of Wracks be right where I want them to be, the Ravagers try to pop tanks and the Venoms pepper the opponent with shots getting closer to try to get some of those shots with the blaster from the warriors, during this turn and the khymera leap to get there as fast as possible Voidbomber as Anti Air.

what do you guys think?
seems pretty versatile

The Twilight Zone

You have a strong list with a lot of hard hitting power, shame no room for night shields on the ravagers or a flickerfield for the voidraven.

I am not totally sold on mindphase gauntlet for the aberration. The model is I4 right? not exactly striking early enough in combat to stop most things. If your trying to shut down Power fist/axe sarges, better to just try and kill them than stun them. Decent if you are fighting tervigons I suppose, but you could just use poison and dark lances there. The scissorhand would be a better buy, or a venom blade( re rolls to wound against most opponents!) to just smother an enemy in attacks.

Maybe make one of the warrior squads wytches with haywires to help with AT?

Flickerfield on the voidraven prevents having to jink, and can save you against vector strikes that otherwise ignore cover.

I would love to see a version of this list with all 25 khymerae in one beastpack led by the baron. Less target saturation, but more sheer threat factor(most of all the hilarity factor). Also, consider a razorwing flock or 2 to actually kill stuff.

I like your idea of a flicker field on the voidraven bomber and the mindphase gauntlet would do better as venom blades on Aberations i think, freeing up the points for the flickerfield on the bomber,

i do hear people mentionning that the khymeraes dont kill anything but I find that with their 3 attacks (4 on charge) @ Str4 and Ws4 and even Ini of 6 they should be able to kill stuff pretty well, If I were to put them all in one big team of 25 this would be 100 attacks! that should kill most things I think, especially since then you add the barons and beastmaster attacks.
yes the flocks have rending but your not even that likely to get one rending hit per 2 bases you have fighting, doesnt seem that much more killy then the khymera except they can get one shotted by str6 hit. Are the flocks really that good?
they seem ok but I dont really like their feel, are they needed?

My only advice would be to put all the kymarae in one squad so they can all benefit from the baron's effect, I also agree that you should drop the mindphase guantlets for venom blades and get night shields on the ravagers, I find them infinitely useful when facing things like plasma cannons, heavy bolters and even sniper rifles. The flickerfield is good for voidravens and razorwings but you don't need it, you can use its deep strike ability to come in behind an enemy flyer and thus avoid all its weapons.

Yes Khymaera have lots of attacks at S4, I6... BUT Razorwings have rending! Usually running 15 Khy's and 4 Razorwings is a more optimal effect. That's still plenty of attacks, but a bunch are rending nomming through terminators and such.

So far the effectiveness of 10 Wraithblades with Ghost Axes:
Tanked 2 Leman Russ squadrons (including the battle cannons and the triple plasma variant); whilst also getting wailed on by everything imaginable in a Fortress of Redemption. Only to get into CC with the tanks and open them up.
2000 points worth of Necrons with Forgeworld additions. Got into CC with a court of Lords and opened them up.
Killed a GUO.
Killed Angrath the Gargantuan Bloodthirster in an Apoc game (with the help of Iranna the Spirit Seer).
Ate a Hammerhead, pathfinders and scored after 3 turns of walking towards a 2000 point Tau gunline and overwatch!
And counting............

Well, with the sheer force of the khymerae(and with the baron, they have assault grenades and hit first!) Flocks are not really needed. Just don't plan on mulching through terminator blobs anytime soon! You are not exactly heavy on anti termi weapons, but between the weight of khymerae attacks and their 4++(a huge selling point) you will do some damage, and then be able to take it too. A razorwing flock or two just helps break combat, but so long as the baron is alive, I suppose you can just hit and run. Razorwings also have a ton of wounds, if you just need a body to soak fire against small arms. However, I can see the argument of the dogs(a combined squad would be awesome) plus it has awesome fluff.

With assaulting tanks being easier in 6th, the razorwings are less critical, as even khymerae can crush a tank down through glancing.
