Edit: The Immortals with the night scythe would deploy on the board and the scythe would come in as support. The two squads of immortals would each have a res orb and a stormtek.

Edit: So i had to drop my immortals to 8 man squads and took semp weave and scythe from overlord to add 3 whip coils to each wraith squad. this seems ok because the destroyer lord is my warlord anyway.

I speak from tournament experience that having full night scythes is far to unreliable. You are better off going with only 5 warriors in each night scythes for last turn objective grabbing and use the points you saved for more wraiths.

Are the destroyers worth having?

Destroyers are ok, just not great. The same thing can be said about the monolith. If you have annihilation barges you should play 3 considering it is easily one of the best things in the codex.

I adjusted my list, I don't own all of the models yet so changing things up doesn't really matter too much. Of the games I have played with necrons I was a personal fan of destroyers so I would like to keep at least one squad of them.

Honestly the only thing i'm not liking about this is that its rather cookie cutter for tournament play from what i've seen.

One of, if not, the best lists in the UK tournament scene is:
2x Destroyer Lords, Weave, MSS and Warscythe
4x5 Warriors in Nightscythes
2x6 Wraiths
1x5 Wraiths
3xAnnihilation Barges

Destroyer Lords tank the shots for the 2x6 Wraith squads and then the Warlord jumps into the 5 Wraith unit so you don't lose the VP for that. It's a very good list because it has all the elements needed to win a game of 40k

some thing I have done and is amazing is that instead of 5 warriors how about 5 Tesmortals that way when you do boost and drop onto and objective even though you have to snap fire that means you get 2 extra attacks and it will thin #s in case the game goes on one more turn... and sitting a Barge at each of your own obj isnt a bad idea either

Tesla Immortals are MUCH better than warriors. They are survivable and actually have some killing power. They can wipe a GJB unit or small guard unit off an objective late game.

My only recommendation would be to drop a Scythe or the Destroyers and add a large block of immortals with possibly an Overlord attached. This would give you a durable scoring unit. The 5 man units often aren't enough, from my experience. 260 pts worth of scoring is pretty meager. My 1850 list for example, takes over 800 points of scorers that take up a large footprint that makes it difficult for small squads like that to score on me.

I made an edit touching on as many suggestions as I can.

I understand the bonus to using tesla but is it really that much better than gauss when gauss can deal with any type of vehicle. I guess the reason I'm concerned with the tesla and taking out the destroyers is it is very rare that I don't see a landraider in a marine list not matter what branch and I want to be able to deal with it from a range and not rely on my wraiths getting into cc then hopefully rending enough.

I'd lose the destroyers and 5 warriors + scythe and add 9 immortals a overlord with resorb, weave and two stormteks. This gives you a better scoring presence and better anti-mech. The stormteks tear land raiders apart. As do warcythes.

Stick the Storm-teks in with the Warriors, not the Tesla-Immortals (Storm-teks should be going after vehicles with Gauss wielding Warriors, whereas Tesla is better for taking/holding objectives).

Also, you should probably find a way to give the Wraiths some Whip Coils (3 coils for every 6 Wraiths usually works out best)

I have made what i think should be my final changes. I wrote the changes in the final edit on the list. Thank you everybody who has been commenting. The current list looks tons different than the original and it doesn't look like every other list i've seen so im really excited about this.

Okay, the list looks solid... now the trick is, knowing how to use it.
