I played against my friends imperial guard, and in quite a surprise for me he used a sky shield landing pad. I have never played against thsi fortification before and it made for quite a good and entertaining game.

Let me know what you think.

A good game to read about but the report is rife with spelling and grammatical errors. The constant Exterminator/Executioner (it's the latter) mix-up is a bit confusing too. Even so the quality of this report is an aberration and i look forward to reading your next. @Malduran Peace Out! Jonny!

It does not look like a tournament list does it? Still RubberJonny played very well. Bastions are a pita ... against a list with Drakes it suffers but against a list with really no means to effectively get at it ...
My problem with your list Malduran are the paper thin flyers ... they are an issue. Also I love WWs but they are not a durable as WLs. I do think you made a few mistakes but hey ... it was an interesting report.
Th issue remains with the wraithwall list. Unless you tinker to get some mobility ... and that means skimmers, bikes, flyers it is slow. But the options after paying for a squad of ten WG and an expensive HQ limits the amount you can take and makes it even more susceptible to that IG list. I gace up on GJBs awhile ago. They are just too easy to eliminate. Love warp spyders but I've been doing better with StrScor as elites or Harlies.
Keep the reports coming.

Sorry dude, they next report will be of a better quality (i hope).
With the army, after i have bought the wraithguard, which i really dont want to giev up as im enjoying playing with them, i dont have an awful lot of points, but keep watching and i will tinker around with that i can do.

You have learned the hard way just how damn dangerous hellhounds are to us Eldar. Those things....my guard friend ALWAYS brings one against me. Top priority.
Do remember your flickerfields, I once had a venom survive against 3 rounds of a long fang squad from a flicker.
I feel your pain about the baron and the shadowfield. You think "haha, check out this 2++ re rollable, this will totally eat every wound you throw at it" and then double ones and you drop several f bombs in a row.
Skirting the guard is a good idea. Footdar always has a problem with guard, as you have to walk into the sheer torrent of hell they can throw out.
Consider a squad of wytches with haywire grenades over blaster kabbies for a venom. These are my go to for popping russes.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Hell hounds are definatly my new top priority when against guard.
Wyches instead? I have tried that in the past yo little affect. But 5 grenades are better thsn 1 blaster I guess

Just want to say I've spent my last few lunchbreaks happily reading through your 6th ed bat rep backlog on your website.
I SHOULD have been painting my IG miniatures, mind you. But totally worth it!
