People, I'm getting pretty pissed off trying to find some info about the upcoming Warhammer quest game. God I f@ck;ng love that game, but I can't find an answer to my question on the Internet
Is it going to be a direct simulation a la bloodbowl? God I hope so

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Really, iOS only? Did Apple buy a bunch of stock in GW or something? There are other platforms out there with bigger market share.

not for a 'tablet game' and that's what GW has licenced, not a console or PC game
doing stuff in Android is much more hassle as you've got far more hardware/varient software to consider

While Android may be a bigger combined market, Android is also fragmented to all hell and difficult to develop for. It is actually like developing for 30 small markets. The level of effort is 10+ fold that of developing an iPhone only app.
And android users are notoriously bad about actually paying for apps. So it is way more work for much less gain. The real question app developers who are attempting to make money is why would you bother developing for anything *BUT* iOS. One development lifecycle in a single well-supported framework for a captive customer base who statistically purchase apps more than the other markets. It is really a no-brainer.
