So I finished this guy up over the weekend.

The dangly tree bits didn't turn out quite how I'd imagined them, but they're pretty close. Ideally they'd feel a bit more 'weighty' and less fluffy, but there's only so much you can do with clump foliage, so I'm happy enough with the final piece.

Da-yum! I like the 'terminator-face-surprise' you set up for us with the pics! Seriously, this is an amazing display piece. You did an excellent job selecting your background materials. Your background is beautifully composed, but chosen in such a way that it does not detract from the miniature. Despite having some awesome scenery, the ranger still draws the eye to him. Great work, simply great!

Welcome to the Freakshow!

Astonishing work especially on the fabrics - the white cloth on the chest area still has me guessing how you did it!

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read. Marx (Groucho, not Karl).

Absolutely excellent, I can't imagine how long the lichen took, it looks like an alien plant! And the model itself is excellent. Pat yourself on the back for this one!

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

The White armour on his chest was simply a Fortress Grey basecoat blended up to pure White, with a little touch of Ice Blue shading to add a spot of colour. Not really anything super fancy involved at all!
