Ive been trying out Kustom Mega Blastas on my deffkoptas.

any ork players out there want to give me your oppinion about how useful this combo is?

Havent tried it, but looking at the numbers, pretty lousy.

Its expensive, one shot, not twin-linked, same strength just diff AP as the TL rokkit and also has the off chance of hurting the shooter.

The only way i see KMBs being used at ALL is on a killakan wall, as they atleast have BS3 and are the only way we can spam it in a unit that would actually want it.

TL rokkits are way better because theyre cheaper, better odds of hitting, and quite frankly there isnt much an AP3 wont pen anyway.

I think that has six levels of fail written all over it. Twin linked would help so much.

if it was a TL KMB, i would be running the hell out of that. Yea its the same str but its AP2 so GOOD BYE ANY ARMOR SAVES!! not to mention a better boomboom chance against vehicles.

But sadly its not TL, costs more than TL rokkit, and is BARELY better than the rokkit if you ignore the TL part - not worth it.
