When can the farseer use Guide, Doom, and Fortune.
I play eldar and another player and myself were curious about this. I cannot find where in the FAQ, codex, or BRB where it describes what type of powers they are or when they can be used.

Now i am guessing that they have to be cast in the movement phase just because they are not shooting attacks.

also if you could provide where your answer comes from that would be helpful

thanks for all help in advance =)

Unless it says otherwise, all Eldar codex powers are used at the beginning of the movement phase. (Technically the start of the Eldar turn.) Eldar codex page 28, first sentence.

All spells have descriptions that fit within the framework of spell type that is specified in the BRB under the psycher section.

The Eldar codex does not have any 'Blessings' or 'Maledictions' in it, as the codex was made well before 6th ed.

The BRB would not really help that much.

All the older powers specify in their own descriptions or codex when they're used anyway.

My mistake. I thought that they had to conform.

No because deathreaper has said, the codex was written before maledictions and blessings existed in the rules.

Don't worry, when the next codex comes round, Doom will be a malediction power and Fortune and Guide will both be blessings.

Mind War will be focused witchfire and Eldritch Storm witchfire I should imagine.
