A Skull at the Throne of Khorne

Hi, after taking 5-6 year hiatus from 40k, I decided to dive right back in. I am more interested in painting than I am in playing, but I hope to get back to playing sometime soon as well. I recently started a 40k blog to record my journey back into the hobby, and maybe help some other people start/get back into it as well. I'm posting here for two reasons:

1. For advanced gamers/hobbyists : I would like some constructive criticism, and/or tips for making the blog better or more professional. I'm not a true expert in 40k myself (I own a lot of stuff, but that doesn't make me an expert), so I would enjoy as much info/help as you can give me!

2. For new gamers/40k ers : Read my posts on "Picking an Army", and see if they help you at all. The major purpose of the blog is to help newcomers with the hobby. I started kinda blind when I began playing, and I wish I had had someone/something to help guide my way through the beginning stages. Instead, I ended up buying everything in sight and giving up after 2 years or so. If you like, or don't like, what you see, let me know!

The link to the blog can be found here:

Thanks!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...
