So I've found what looks like a good deal on some Ogres and am wondering how a Shooty Ogre army would work out? Something like:

Slaughtermaster - Level 4, Heavens

Bruiser - BSB, Ironfist, Flaming Banner

Butcher - Level 1,

4x10 Gnoblars - Trappers
9 Ironguts - FC, Banner of Discipline

6 Leadbelchers
6 Leadbelchers
2 Mournfang - Muso, HA, Ironfists
2 Mournfang - Muso, HA, Ironfists
1 Sabretusk
1 Sabretusk
1 Sabretusk

1 Ironblaster
1 Ironblaster

This leaves about 40 points leftover to spend on characters.

The idea is to skirmish ahead with my tusks and Mournfang on my flanks and shoot the living daylights out of the opponent, once he is weakened I can then rush my opponent with the Gutstar/Leadbelchers/ Mournfang. The Gnoblars are there for extra drops and to redirect/slow down any armies that actually want to come and get into combat with me.

Is this a viable way to play Ogres? All I tend to see is the same cookie-cutter Mournfang or Maneater lists and I'm wondering if this would work?

Cheers
