Currently the site treats the ipad I am using as a mobile device and hides all avatars. Considering it's not a bandwidth or visual space issue on tablets it would be good if there was an option, set off by default, to show avatars on tablet/mobile devices.

There are two ways to do this (idk how to do one of them on the iPad)

1) Request Desktop Site, on some mobile devices you can request to get the normal site you'd view on a PC or Notebook computer, and that will show avatars, since the website thinks your mobile device is a regular computer. I Sadly don't know how to do this on an iPad, but my Android device does this.

2) At the top of the page, you'll see a link that says "Switch Theme" Select Dakka 2012 - Dark/Orange and that will make it non-mobile (at least for me it did).

Just got a tablet of my own, I've been going back and forth between using Regular Dakka and Mobile Dakka. I would prefer to keep it on Dakka Classic to have avatars, but the 'popup preview' feature is really annoying on a touch screen... so I'd like to request a Mobile Dakka /w Avatars theme the next time Lego has a free moment to do something that won't effect too many users.
