I dont really like GW's price tag (or Vallejo's for that matter), so im constantly on lookout for decent alternatives. A mate of mine said he was pretty happy with a kit he bought called Warpaint.
Since i've never heard of it, wanted to ask - has anyone tried it before?

Warpaints seem to be the range of paints from Mantic. Its 1 pound 75, per bottle and the range seems to be quite limited.
Honestly, i'd just pay for Vallejo paints, which you can get from Wayland for 1 pound 89. 14 p more, but you get the entire selection from 3 or 4 ranges.

My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

Cheap model paint would not be easy to find, but Coat d'Arms sells GW's old range.

Warpaint might be Army Painter's range, too. They call the pots Warpaints.

Yeah, I would guess he's talking about the Army Painter Warpaints. I use them frequently and like them a lot.

I use some of the Army painter warpaints and I will definitely buy more they are really quite good paints! colours are a touch more pastel than we're used to seeing but the coverage and density are good.
