So, I'm thinking about running Nob Bikers as a meaty screen for my tanks (I play Space Marines).

Are power claws worth it? And if so, how many? And are cybork bodies worth it?

One Powah Klaw... rest Big Choppas.

I like cyborks, but they're not that necessary if you're going to use 'em as meatshield/distraction units.

Live Ork, Be Ork. or D'Ork!

Big choppa removes one of your attacks; laws own every time.

But you are aware that the big appeal of a no star is that they can score if you need it; and Orks/SM are desperate allies?

it doesnt remove an attack, it prevents you from getting the bonus attack from slugga. And quite frankly, the +2str is way better than +1attack in majority of situations.
If i have points i tend to give all my klaw'd or Bigchoppa'd nobz a kombi scorcha, they already lost the benefit of the slugga so might as well give them a str5 ap4 template shot or a damn good overwatch.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

Thanks Davou, I'm aware, and have planned accordingly.

Seems like I'm getting some mixed signals on the klaw/big choppa issue. I've run relic blades for my marines before, so I know how huge a deal the +2 Str can be (and I know the big choppas don't have an AP, so it isn't really the same ). I may have to run this a few different ways and see what works.

1 to 2 PK depending if you run BikerBoss. No BC. Not worth it.
