Hey all, looking for some fresh eyes on this as I've been hunting for any reasons in brb or codex but can't find any.

Master of Deception allows d3 infantry units in your army to infiltrate....

1) Can jump infantry infiltrate then?

Jump rule states it is NOT a unit type but rather a sub type. If its a jump infantry it still follows all the rules for infantry. I cant seem to find anything that would suggest that they can't.

2) if your CSM have a daemon ally could you infiltrate the daemons that are infantry? It just says "may infiltrate up to d3 infantry in your army" and a secondary detachment is in your army. I would like to think so especially as they are battle brothers but anyone find a reason why not?

Cheers,
RMH

re: question 2.

Army is a poorly defined game term which is used alternately to refer to the combined allied forces or each unique force that combines within the whole force.

Basically, it's up to you and your group, or a TO in the case of a tournament, to decide what exactly constitutes an army, there's no clear cut answer.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Pretty sure jump infantry is a subtype of infantry, so a jump infantry unit could benefit from having Huron or Ahriman.

I would say you can use the power of your warlord for the allies as they are battle bros.

Sorry for my writing, I'm french and trying the best I can.

In regards to the question about allied detachments, does the warlord rules in the CSM codex not say that they only effect codex chaos space marines?

Codex isn't on hand, but I remember being disappointed my allies couldn't have the 12" preferred enemy C:SM

Dark, why is that? The codex says "The Warlord and all friendly units within 12"" have PE: SM.
