More questions from Grundy about priming

Spraying is how I prime my models, as long as they are on the sprue. But the single bits are tough to spray, since they usually move around when attempting to prime them. I was looking at one point for some brush on primer, but didn't find anything except a few online options, nothing locally though.

Anyone have any experience with brush on primers? Any suggestion on good, reasonably prices options?

double sided tape or blutac on a box, then stick the small bits to the box, spray away

One trick with spray primer and small parts is double sticky tape. Or just folding the ends back on normal tape so the sticky side is out.

The last brush on I used was smelly primer from GW, but that was years ago.

Tape to a box is also my strategy, but I'll add another that I use specifically for heads:

Pin the neck. Drill an itty-bitty hole, stick a paper clip end up inside, and now you have a head on a stick!

Hehehehe...

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

I like to just stick a sewing pin in the underside so i have something to hold onto or even glue the piece to a piece of sprue. If its a head ill use the pin if its a bolter or something i just glue the handle to a piece of sprue because i am going to cut the handle off anyway, or push the pin into the barrel.
