So, I'm getting back into Eldar on a budget, and I've decided on a feudal Japan-themed Exodite Eldar army. So far they're only in the planning stage, and i wondered if anybody had any thoughts on this.

I've got these units planned so far:
Dragon Monks (Fire Dragons): Cloaked monks throwing fire spells for count-as melta weapons. Planning on making them from Glade Guards, heavy greenstuffing (which I'm pretty terribad at, but i reckon flames and cloaks won't be too bad) and suspension of disbelief.
Dragon Rides (Guardian Jetbikes): Naturally you need these guys! Planning on just using good ol' Cold Ones and Guardians, with some DE Corsair cloaks and other miscellaneous parts that may appear fancy.
Samurai Lion Riders (Jetbike Council): Now... I'm unsure about these guys. Getting the lions right ain't no problem with the HE Chariot. It's the Seers I don't know how I'm gonna make. Sticking to the feudal Japan - flavour I'm planning for these guys, I'm hellbent on making them as Samurai-esque as possible, but so far I've been unable to find suitable models. They need to be fitable on top of a mount, so the GW Seer models are not an option. Plating can be makeshifted from Tau bits, but my aforemetioned catastrophic green stuff skills limits the possibilities rather heavily. Any input on this is would be much appreaciated!

Transport: Now this is the big question. I'm determined to shoehorn some form of transport into the army, the question is just how. Take an existing vehicle and feral it up? Kitbash a DE transport and some sort of dragon into a flying creature with a howdah? I'm thinking that might work, although the creature could be more of a "lumbering behemoth", akin to the Tyranid Harridan.

Any thoughts or suggestions to the concept?

Transport, hmmmmmmmm.
Ever thought of using whf massive spider thing. although it doesnt fit ur the samurai theme very well i think its the only unit big enough to be even considered a apc. DE raider with dragon wings or something would just be too small cuz dragons are small in general.

You could use pterodactyls for jetbikes, and walking dinos with riders as Warwalkers / Wraithguard?

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"
