Gonna face some chaos this Saturday and since it is my friends first 6 ed list I don't want to bring an overwhelming force, but rather a unique, fun list which I though I'd post. So, without saying anything else, here you go!

HQ:
Nemesor Zhandrekh
»C.C.Barge«
Vargard Obyron
/425pts

Troops:
12 Warriors
12 Warriors
10 Tesla Immortals (converted since I used my Immortal-packages for building Deathmarks)
/482pts

Elites:
5 Deathmarks
5 Deathmarks
/190pts

Heavy Support:
Monolith
Tomb Stalker
/405pts

For a total of 1502 pts (unless I'm wrong). 2 points above the limit doesn't matter where I play. Generally, we agree that as long as you don't go more than 5 pts above the limit, it's okay.

The strategy:
Obyron steal Zhandrekh's Barge to become a mobile CC beast.

The Immortals stay back with Zhandrekh as a tank as a durable scoring unit at an objective.

Since my friend usually brings deep strike units such as terminators (at least he did so in 5th ed) I used Deathmarks as a counter. If he deep strikes to blast my immortals off their objective, the Deathmarks will add some counter firepower.

The Monolith deep strikes as soon as possible close to an enemy objective where it will draw forth the Stalker. The Stalker and Monolith should annihilate whatever holds the objective so that a Warrior unit can go through the portal and steal it.

Zhandrekh will function as a tank in the Immortal squad as well as giving furious charge/counter attack to Obyron. He will also allow the Monolith to land in the enemy turn.

What do you all think? I do personally like the idea of Obyron in a Barge, though I haven't tried it before. But then, this is not supposed to be an autowin or competetive army, but a fun one.

If anyone has any other ideas of good units to be combined with a Barged Obyron, please do post them!

Does the Chaos player run helldrakes? if so, how will you counter air units?

Bedouin Dynasty: 10000 pts
The Silver Lances: 4000 pts
The Custodes Winter Watch 4000 pts

Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum.

No, he doesn't. He still only has 5th ed models...
