Dan Yarrington of Game Salute returns to the show to join Craig and Russ to discuss Trade Shows. How are they different than conventions, what are they like in the gaming industry?

Later we tackle the civilization building game "Clash of Cultures" from Z-man games. Does this 4-X game bring anything new to the genre? And does it have enough elephants?

And don't miss Total Fan Girl this episode as Nicole chats with some of the folks behind Pandemic.

All that and our other not-too-horrible segments including:
- Total Fan Girl
- Do You Ever Notice
- News
- Listener Resolutions
- & More

Finally! What happened between the last Lost Chapter and this episode if you don't mind me asking?

Been jonesing for some D6G, so can't wait to get my listen on.

Also, have you ever considered putting a link to the discussion thread for the last episode in each new thread you make (that way you could just 'jump backwards' through the D6G Dakka threads pretty easily)?

Obviously going back and adding those links isn't feasible, but you could always start from this point on...

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

Good stuff, as always.

One minor note regarding the rules to Clash of Cultures, and I've seen this come up in a few different places so don't feel bad.

When you issue a movement action to your troops, you are NOT allowed to move the same group of troops more than once per action. I believe Russ said that you can move 3 groups 1 time or 1 group 3 times. This is incorrect. You can move up to 3 different groups 1 hex each (as a base value, without any tech advances), but you can't move the same group more than once per movement action. If you want to move the same group again during the same turn, you need to issue another, separate move action.

Anyway, just a minor point. Keep up the great work!
