Hey all, I've got a tournament coming up and I'm looking for some feedback on my list. It's not designed to be hyper-competitive but any obvious improvements would be appreciated. The farseer guides the walkers (24 rerollable S6 shots are just horrible) and goes with the haemonculus and wracks to give my warlord a T4 bodyguard with FNP that will become fearless if it gets an early kill with the quad gun. The guardians sit on an objective and go to ground behind the aegis line so they get a 2+ save with rerollable leadership tests, they should be quite hard to move against anything that isn't a heldrake/burning brand wielding chaos type. I used to use rangers but I'm very disillusioned with how little damage they cause/how easily they die so I want to try this out as an alternative. Everything else does what you'd expect. All feedback appreciated, thanks!

I don't know much about dark eldar so i wont comment on them, as for the eldar I'm not what models you have but I'm not a fan of fire prisms and I would rather go for another squad of walkers and shave points here and there for another farseer with guide. Also i would try and fit a rune of warding on the farseer as its probably the best anti psyker ability in the game especially now you don't get saves vs perils.

You definitely need runes of warding. Most insane thing ever lol

Also I recommend you change the guardians to a scatter laster. 4 s6 shots is nice for only 15 pts.

I would drop the fire prisms. They are never as good as you think.

I would take a DE Ravager with 3 lances. Serious anti tank for the same cost. You could even take a raider with 3 dis cannons since you have the fire dragons for anti tank.

With the points differnce I would take 5 warriors with a blaster in a venom with 2 cannons.

You could shave 20 points by cutting 2 guardians to make it fit.

It gives another scoring unit. Which is great vs infantry and monsterous creatures (poison) and some anti tank with a blaster.

I disagree, the prisms in pairs are just fine.

Second runes of warding, absolutely fantastic. If you just need guide, swap for prescience. Better range, can work on deldar, and works in assault.

Second the scatter laser too

Take only 10 guardians and load up on wracks. Consider giving your hamey a hexrifle, and taking an acothyst with one too. Now your unit can do something besides sit. ALso, liquifiers are fantastic.
