hi dakkians

i'm spending a lot of time during this day tryng to find some good miniatures for a small force of chaos dwarfs.
of course, the firts models that i saw was the well known mantic abyssal dwarfs, but i have a lot of questions about them: i saw that is an hybrid kit plastic / metal and in some pics the minis seems to have a lot of misscasts and not too much details. i searched in every blog that mentioned mantic dwarfs but i ask here if someone that have that dwarfs can give me some additional opinions and reviews. the big hat style is ok, but the things that i fear is to buy models that dont' fit in each other pieces and have a lot of misscasts.

Anvil make great minis, and these are just for purpose. All resin, although they only currently have Command, Crossbow and Spear units.

sorry, but i can't afford forgeworld stuff, this is why i asked about mantic abyssal dwarfs

Mantic are fine, their no more prone to problems then GW kits, I have a whole chaos dwarfs force built from them (first tourney with them in a fortnight)
