Hey Dakka,

Just looking for some Critique on my Friendly Ork list! Not looking to make this in any way competitive. Next to each unit I will provide what role I want them to carry out in my force.


HQ

Warboss - 115pts (I have a Ghazghkull Model, but can't squeeze in the points)
- Mega Armour
- Cybork Body
- 'Eavy Armour

Big Mek w/KFF - 85pts (Defines Himself)

Elites

10 Nobz - 485pts (Real tough melee unit, want them to really hurt anything they touch, and stick around to do it...considering shoving them in a B'wagon?)
- 5 Big Choppas
- 4 PK's
- Painboy (+Grot orderly)
- WAAAGH! Banner
- All Have stikkbombs, Cybork Bodies, and 'eavy Armour

14 Lootas - 230pts (Rip open Rhinos and the like, lay down some uber heavy firepower)
- Mek w/Rokkit Launcha

Troops

20 Shoota Boyz - 170pts
-Nob w/PK and Bosspole
-2 Big Shootas

20 Shoota Boyz - 170pts

Super quick fixes for you:

The Mega Armour on the warboss makes 'eavy armour redundant. He chills with the Nobz? He ain't going anywhere fast without a transport.


I'd probably drop 2 PKs from the Nobz, and they need, (100% NEED) a transport - OR Bikes! Most people will say that 10 is overkill but if you're just playing for fun it is pretty satisfying to have 10 nobz roaming around annihilating stuff. But, if you cut them down abit you can afford some other goodness.

Slugga Boyz squads are only worth being that small if they have a trukk, otherwise they are pretty easy to just wipe off the table.

Warbikez are awesome, give them a Nob with PK and Bosspole though.

3 Killa Kans in big games generally don't do much by themselves.

OVERALL:

IMO you have a hybrid list at the moment, what you could do is lean more towards a speed freak list, and what I would do is make the changes stated above plus remove the Killa kans for a dakkajet and try and squeeze an extra dakkajet in too.

If you went down this route you could swap your 20 man shoota boyz for trukk boyz and have the Big Mek in one of those squads. So you have say 3 x 12 Trukk boyz with a Nob+PK+BP and 1 x 11 with a Nob etc etc and a Big Mek with KFF.

Make your Nobz mobile and then... that leaves the loota's slightly out of place, sitting alone on the back field, ADL?

I'd originally planned to write a smaller point list, but failed miserably

That's one thing I forgot to mention actually, I did want to add in some ADLs, but I don't know the rules regarding that

I'll take the Mega Armour off the Warboss, and give him a Power Klaw/ Twin Linked shoota instead? I'd love him hanging with the Nobz, especially in a Battle wagon

I can shave off some Lootas, whittle it down to a group of 10 maybe?

Would it be worth sticking the Shoota Boyz behind ADLs too?

The Sluggas are in there to give some more melee to the army, or at least just keep some of the enemy in place for a few turns. They weren't meant for any actual hard-hitting power, that's where the Nobz come in
