What are some other options for movement trays ?
I have been reading posts that some people put their units 6x6, 8x4, 10x2, etc. So I was wondering what other options people use for Movement trays that makes changing unit arrangement not so expensive.

A 5x10 movement tray is pretty versitile. It can hold the same unit in either Horde formation or in normal bus formation. Simply turn it sideways.

I usually go 5x5 for 20mm bases and 5x2 for 25mm bases. That way when I have to change my horde formation unit into bus, I just need to pick up one of the 5x5 movement tray and trade place and it's done, no need to rearranging the models. Also it would be easier to move around since 10x5 movement tray is really big.

Not the cheapest, but one of the easiest and works well with magnetic bases.
I rough up the edge with dremel, add some apoxie sculpt texture and paint. I install magnets on all my bases, and my transport case is lined with steel, so everything fits well.

That's for everyone to decide if the extra style is worth it. I am happy with them and wouldn't like to spoil my painted army with Kellog's movement cardboards.

I took the cereal packet and sprue thing to a more sturdy resolution with sheet metal. Works a treat with a magnet in the bases. Did a tutorial here:

Balsa wood and the plastic sprues worked well for me. Cost pretty much nothing and looks quiet good.
