Using the list from the 'Forces' book, take absolutely everything, with all options, 76mm rather than vanilla Shermans and Amoured Rifle Platoon rather than the Paras, is 4215. Knock off half the Assault Guns (-215) is 4000 dead. I will begin working towards this

Quick rules question, re the Platoons destroyed rule, I know there is an exclude list (p176), but it doesnt mention HQ or Air. I assume HQ is not included for purposes of platoons destroyed vs still active, but is Air Support? Ta.

As air support can never be completely destroyed it is not part of it.

I would always advise that if you can build a list and then buy 1 more unit to make a new list (e.g buying a US tank list with 1 armoured rifle platoon, then buying a second and having an armoured rifle co) is more fun than filling out a list

I'm slowly putting together my complete foot-gren company, being FV it's already passed the 4000 mark. Of course I have a few toys so I can make it armoured, mech etc. Like you I try to alternate, 2013 looks like a 40k year, maybe I'll finish my Germans in 2014
