Nurgle Chaos Lords on Bikes are T6, but that's not the question I'm raising. The prospect of a highly mobile T6 HQ brought me and a friend into a debate about what would be the best loadout to give him. We agreed that one of his weapons should be replaced with a Combi-Bolter, and then we looked at the codex and I discovered that, in the Ranged Weapons area of the Wargear section on page 91, it states that "A model can replace a weapon with one of the following:". Does this mean that a model with access to Chaos Ranged Weapons can take two Combi-Bolters if they come with two weapons? And if that's the case, then would a Nurgle Biker Lord equipped in this manner be firing six shots at anything within 12"?

No, as you can only replace one weapon.

Bikes can only fire as per the rules on P. 45 Shooting section.

A more common tactic is to stick two ccw on a model on a bike. Since he's T6 he'll be hard to kill and might make a big impact with a nurgle biker squad.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

The rule says one weapon, not a weapon. At least in my Codex.

How? The bike rules don't allow for firing multiple weapons, nor can you fire both weapons on a Combi-gun.

Slight correction - Bikes can only fire once per passenger/driver.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

That is what I said, but I used a rules reference to say it.

Not sure why you quoted me.

Because I mis-read what you wrote.
