So have a ebayer wanting to buy a large biker army from me, around 300 GBP worth so not a small amount, has anyone had trouble sending to Poland before?, dont usually post international but its a large army and not many people are going to want to buy it, I am looking for tracked couriers only, as well.

I've shipped to and from Poland using normal parcel post (USPS in my case to Poland) and have never had any issues with it. It is a heck of a lot better than, say, Italy.
Any time you ship anything, there is a fair amount of crossing your fingers once you put the box in the mail. They seem to do a pretty good job though.

Poland is not on the 'danger' list like Italy,
but if you're sending such a valuable package I'd make sure you pay not only for tracking (like you said) but also for adequate insurance.
To decide who you want to ship it you'll need to pack it and find out the weight, and the dimensions of the package
Royal Mail may be more expensive, but does tend to fare best in terms of quality of service.
Of the other couriers Fedex and UPS also seem to do reasonably well

I keep hearing about Italy, is it really that bad?, I have shipped car parts to Portugal and Poland before, the parts to poland were not that expensive.
I have the dimensions of the box, a lot bigger then is needed but I do package my items well (throw back from selling car parts) so I could get a smaller box if needed but so far the costs are expensive. Automatically Appended Next Post: Well its looking like 50-75GBP for postage, both with fed ex (one quickr then the other).
Does anyone know if Parcel Force do internional tracking? cant quite find it on their website.

Yes, Italy is that bad. Assuming the box doesn't get stolen, thrown out, opened up and rifled through or otherwise disappear...when it does get to its location, it tends to look a bit like it was used as a substitute ball during a World Cup game.
I also will not buy things that ship from Italy for just that reason. I will still buy from Russia, though I tend not to ship there. Same with Spain. Trying to think of a specific problem that I have had with France though, other than long shipping times - I can't think of any with them...not to say they don't exist.

La Poste goes on long strike and after coming off it doesn't deliver the backlog, just destroys the parcels. Yes, it has happened. Most of the time, they're ok.

You should be OK. The Polish Post, while slow, is not really as bad as the famed Italian one.
