Came up t'other day ..

The living Saint from the SoB army is fearless and therefore passes this onto the unit she is with.

She also has her handy-dandy and not at all hair tearingly annoying miraculous intervention rule which allows her to return from the dead.

The "terrify" malediction power removes the fearless rule and requires the affected unit to take a morale check.

Now then.. situation is the squad ( seraphim as it was, not that it matters too much AFAIK) failed this check and the subsequent fall back move took them off the board.

.. so we played it that the token which is placed for any resurrection by the Saint was placed at the point of the board where the unit left the playing area.

Does that seem right/fair to people ?

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

edit: whoops, I was entirely wrong.

She is removed as a casualty once any model touches the table edge, but I think she still has to move since there's no clear order like there is when assaulting, meaning technically the unit is meant to be moving simultaneously.

So you place the counter wherever she ends up at the end of her move.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Terrify is the stupidest fething power ever. It makes no sense.

If this psychic power (which BA librarians can have) removes the crazy in death company (fearless) then why do they even exist? Surely you can keep them under control by way of this psychic power constantly...

Daemons for god sake. They eat psykers for tea. Why would they be terrified by one?

Daemons dont have Fearless

The unit is removed as a casualty, so she still gets to come back from the dead.

Does that mean that EL models who fall back can attempt to come back? After all, they were removed add a casualty.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Terrify is one of those powers that makes no sense to me.

I like that the power exists. It gives you one possibility to make fearless units lose their fearless and have them suffer morale based effects.
