Any ideas? Can't be bothered waiting for delivery of some I would buy.
My friend wants some for his heavy weapons teams. Has anyone made any replacements before? if so, how.

Honestly, if you don't want to wait for plastics or mail order, you can head down to your local hobby shop, the one that sells model trains, rockets , slot cars stuff like that or your local hardware store, they usually have wood cut to the same size as 25mm, 40mm and 50mm. I've used them for other projects and they work out pretty well and usually wind up like 10c a piece. Light, easy to work with and take to paint pretty well. Just a thought.

I use wood normally for lager bases like 50mm and chariot/monster bases. Just get a sheet of 2-4mm MDF cut it your self and sand the edges a bit to get a light bevel. finished. takes less than 10min and looks decent. especially after the base is lined black.

Thanks.
I only asked because my friend had little time to prepare his Heavy Weapons team before an up coming game.
