This is the WIP of my necromunda frontier town of Tombstone. I'm slowly, very slowly, putting it together but am really struggling with the painting side of things. Any one with any advice would be greatly received cos I'm starting to run out of steam with it and have started doing other things.
The fluff is-
The town I Tombstone is an outlaws paradise situated in The Narrows (where my campaign takes place). This is the place to come for outlaw contacts and hiring hard men to your gangs cause. There is no law in Tombstone, but Bounty Hunters are often seen among the bars and back alleys searching for high value targets. You need quick wits, and an even quicker trigger finger to survive here.
This piece is inspired the work of Viv at rubbishinrubbishout on youTube. If you haven't checked him out yet, do it now. He's like yoda. I saw the video he made of a bunch of Wild West stuff him and his mates made and had to have a crack myself. But this is the first piece of terrain I've ever made so I have no idea really about what I'm doing, I'm just kind of making it up as I go along with semi-educated guesswork!
Note- all the edits are because I'm having a bitch of a time uploading my photos!

Woah! Looking impressive so far. That's a huge building! On the painting side, you have a decent base colour, I think you should start adding grime and dirt to the walls. Have you played 'Red Dead Redemption'? It reminds me of the main bar in the game. Very good reference material there. Have you considered grim darking it up?

Hot damn. Stick a Saloon sign on it, and that'd be the perfect centerpiece for a Shoot Out scenario.

Funny you should mention red dead, this saloon is an almost exact copy! I took out the barman's sleeping quarters and swapped the high rollers room with the store room, but apart from that the floor plan is the same! Well spotted sir! I do new to grime it up a bit, I've got some weathering fluids but no time! Need to seal the model first though, in waiting on some matt varnish arriving. I've been making some tables and chairs, ill put some pic up when I can be arsed lol!

Very nice building! I love the multilayered approach to the interior (and even that it HAS an interior). Would look perfect on a dusty desert table with some mutated horses hanging outside.

Nice. Can be Necro or Wild West games.
I like the interior work.

Nice looking buildings and interiors.
As for painting, if it all still takes place in the underhive you can just paint things in varying shades of grey/stone/metal as the scavanged parts to build their "Tombstone" out of what was available. Minimizes you havin to worry too much about coming up with fancy and unique colors and you can focus your creative energies on the buildings themselves.

That is some nice work. Its refreshing to see something not so underhive like.
