I know that GW doesn't actually make a model for the Librarian riding the space marine bike and I was wondering what other companies would make a good model for this? Or would I be better off building one from scratch?

Best bet would to bitz bash him or do something simular. Basicly you want him to stand out from the rest. Its probly not too hard to take one of the finecast models and a space marine biker and go from there.

Yeah i think the Libby on a bike has some awesome oppurtunities for kit bashing and conversions, and I am personally glad that there isn't an official model, as I know I'd be tempted with the easy option.

The Dark Vengeance Librarian + Ravenwing Sgt + a modeling saw yields a nice libby biker
If that's a bit too Dark Angels for you, I found the large book piece from the Ravenwing accessory sprue (the one that sits a front Sammaels Speeder) to make a decent fairing piece on a libby biker

Here are two bike Librarians I made back in the day;

One is the head and cowl of an Imperial Guard Psyker (designed to have some ball or something right in front of his hand with some OSL). The other is a regular librarian on a pair of biker legs.





Never got around to finishing them...
