I don't know if any of the following weapon combinations even exist (in any codex) or not, but I'd like to know how to resolve armor penetration for the following possibilities.

Weapon #1 : Has the Ordinance and Armorbane special rules
Weapon #2 : Has the Ordinance and Tank Hunter special Rules.

The way I *think* you're supposed to resolve them is as follows;

Weapon #1: Roll 2D6 for armor penetration, but do it twice and take the highest result.
Weapon #2: Roll 2D6 for armor penetration and choose the highest D6. If you don't like that score, you may re-roll BOTH D6's and choose the highest D6 from that roll. You have to take the second result.

Is this correct?

I don't think any weapon has both ordinance and armorbane, but you can get Tank hunters on an ordinance weapon(Pask)

With tank hunters, you simply take the highest roll and add 1.

No clue how ordinance + armor bane would work.

Ordnance + Armourbane: 2D6 twice, take the highest.
Ordnance + Tank Hunters: Roll 2 D6. If either one fails to pen, you re-roll that one. If either one glances you can re-roll it.

@Greay Templar, where are you getting the +1 for Tank Hunters?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

'tis the 5th edition rule. And pask does not grant tank hunters.

Zahndrekh could give TH to monolith. You would just reroll the AP roll as it says.

For Ord+Armourbane, not really sure. I guess you'd roll 2d6 take the highest, 2d6 take the highest and add those. Or, armourbane overrides ordnance and you'd just roll 2d6 (more likely scenario).

What about Ordinance + melta? That's effectively the same as Ordinance and armorbane - can anyone think of one these?

OR....(I'm just being silly here, but still...)

Rending + Melta + Ordinance + Tank Hunters.

Well since we are getting silly:
Ordnance + Melta: Either Ordnance alone, or if half-range see what I posted for Ordnance + Armourbane.

Rending + Melta + Ordnance + Tank Hunters (I'm assuming half range or less):
Str + (best of 2D6 twice), if either result fails to glance you must re-roll. If either result glances you can re-roll. For each 6 rolled, add D3 to the result.

I'd just say it's a Pen.
