Slitherine are a small developer/publisher who tend to make quite hardcore strategic wargames. In theory a 40K game would work extremely well in the deep strategic genre, in theory.

GW have really taken to computer games over the last couple of years.

They were the ones who made the Field of Glory game, though I believe it was pretty basic at most.

I quite like Slitherine, I played their game Spartan a few years ago and really enjoyed it (but alas, it doesn't work on a Windows 7!). This would be cool.

Warhammer quest as well. Its also quite possible that DoW 3 is still being developed by Relic.

Wow a turn based version of 40K, I wonder what that would be like at least painting would be a lot easier.
