I'm just wondering if adding water to them will make them watery enough to paint with normally.
I have no white paint but I DO have the drybrush one. Could I simply mix some with some water on a pallet and use that?

I wouldn't because I suspect the amount of acrylic resin binder would be too diluted, however you can try it and see what happens.

I would expect adding some fluid medium would help in keeping the binder levels high enough to not destroy the film's surface tension.
Try Liquitex Matt medium or ultramatt medium aswell as some flow aid and water. (Ultra matt is supposed to maintain opacity while regular matt would boost transparency, depends what your after

Turns out just adding water DOES work, which is brilliant news on the budget front, as it means I get two paints for the price of one! XD
