I'm surprised there isn't a thread on this already! A small company I have never heard of, Commission Figurines, is doing what I consider a proper KS to expand its production capabilities from 15mm scale buildings to 20mm and 28mm scales. The utility of such should not be lost on 40k and Dust Warfare fans. Anyhow, have a look:

And here's a link to Commission Figurine's gallery of existing products:

Personally, I think this is a very impressive project indeed.

I would be all over the complete pack if that shipping rate was not ludicrous to America.

Why is it that almost all these MDF terrain guys are working out of the UK? Is it too expensive to start one up in the US? Or is there just no market here?

Nice find Manchu! Shame I have no space for terrain atm because some of this stuff looks really good and fairly good value for the amount of stuff that you can get.

I think there was one US MDF kickstarter a while back. Unfortunately that stuff was nowhere near as good in either price or quality not to mention that they guy running it had no idea what he was doing...

The shipping isn't TOO bad to the USA on some of the 'lower' level tiers.

But that nice 7 city buildings level 28mm set for £200?

£50 shipping!!!

If you find shipping too expensive, you can also pick it up at the factory

GameCraft has good pricing and calculates shipping straight on the web-cart, if I remember correctly.

Although for WW2 period pieces and damaged buildings, this one takes the cake. I also like my Burn In Design, but theirs is hobby plywood, not mdf. (Very little difference, imho)

Sarissa offers free shipping with 55 GBP and above. And it's easy to reach that amount.

Exactly!

I wish them all the best though - some nice looking stuff in this one!

Kickstarter shipping is expensive the other way too.
What you have to bear in mind though, is that MDF is heavy.
It's going to be expensive to post.
