Well, I have a side project of some Crons going because I got a good deal on the Megaforce around Christmas time, This is the first one I have taken a crack at, as I have been diligently working on my Sons of Horus (Link in my Sig), anyway I needed a small break and decided to test out a scheme on one of my assembled Immortals. I made my own Dynasty and I will be calling it The Iron Dynasty, I think you'll figure out why.

Let me know what you think!

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

I like the red. It's a different scheme, but it works really well. (The slightly corroded metal works well with it.)

I personally think that the lighting effects, which are good, might benefit from a different color. The blue is a little jarring when viewed with the red. A color change there would bring the color scheme into cohesion without sacrificing the great look that your reds are giving you. (Don't go yellow! Otherwise you'll look like Ronald McDonald 'crons. ) Orange or purple might do well, I think, keeping a unified color scheme going.

That's just a personal suggestion, though, and opinions may vary. You've got some really good skill here, so I think you're going to come out on top no matter what you do.

oh i like the red highlights and bronze main, looks very ... dynasty like, something elevated and royal if you know what i mean
the gun itself i think looks pretty good, too much of a good thing (red) can be bad right
very good

Thanks for the opinions so far guys! I did debate on going with a purple sort of light, so I may have to try that out as well. I wanted to stay away from the typical Crons silver/black/gold/aqua style schemes and I really enjoyed the base of brass color.

Scheme looks great, I'd personally go for a slightly darker shade of red to make the blue highlights stand out more, but that's just my personal style, looks good as is.

I like the base. How did you achieve that effect?

I think they look great as is. The Iron Man theme is clear but subtle. It's a very great look, and good to see something different!

Hahaha to be honest it is just GW's sand colored basing texture at the moment, I usually add something to them later on.
