I asked this on another forum, but 20 views and no answers so I thought of trying here, so:

Looked at the aforementioned booklet, and a question arises...on page 42. under orks ace upgrade for a result of "Extra shooty", does that mean that he is allowed to shoot one of his weapons again or what?

For example, dakkajet with a supa-shoota upgrade has 3 waepons, and according to flyer rules in the RB he can fire 4 of them without suffering a penalty to BS due to speed. So does this ace upgrade allow him to shoot one of his supas again, or does it simply (and extremely lame) mean that his cap on the amount of weapons not recieving penaly rises to 5? Which is pointless cause he can only have 3 weapons...

Or does that apply to let's say the limit on missiles and/or bombs? Or even more, does it only apply to dogfighting, for those "the attacker/defender can fire one weapon", whereas this upgrade would allow two weapons to be fired?

And also, a new(er), kinda silly question...does my dakkajet need to have the enemy flyer in front of him (like for regular shooting, so i can trace a straight line from his gun to the target) to fire, or does dogfighting mean they constantly maneuver and at the end of the dogfight, end up in the same location as they entered it? I ask this because the "defender can shoot one weapon at the attacker" is only viable if the attacker is in front of him, cause most flyers can only fire in front of them...

I've been trying to find out this also. My first guess is that it's pointless upgrading a dakkajet to an ace if it doesn't count as being able to shoot one of the supa shoota's twice and by this would be better giving it to a Burna-bomber that has scorcha-missiles, giving it the ability to drop a bomb and still be able to shoot two missiles, the supa shoota and the TL big shoota.

But I really can't say.

Sorry I'm not much help.

Looks like the only time this is going to affect the game is the bomber or in dogfights. It gives you the chance to fire an additional weapon not to fire a weapon again. You would therefor need to have 5 weapons to fire or have your limit reduced as is a common occurrence from the looks of the dogfight rules.

ADD causes my posts to ramble from time to time. Please bear with me.

You're not a Time Lord stick with linear time.
