if I bought 2 40k boxes and 2 fantasy boxes, would their be enough assorted bits to make then all into 40k boyz?

The reason I ask, is because I like the assortment of cool choppaz and the like that come with the fantasy boyz, I think it would add some extra flavor.

I know I have to buy round bases as well.

The Boyz box will have all the bits for either shootas or choppas, notto mention the amount of choppas you will have from the fantasy boxes too. You will easily have the amount of arms to make all of them into 40k boyz so long as you have about 50/50 mix of shoota/ slugga boys.

even if hes going for all slugga-choppa he can use the fantasy orcs with thier normal weapons and strap some random pistol to their waist. Long as the weapon in question isnt obcenely huge and questionably a Big Choppa, its legal. Hell ive seen people give their boyz the weirdest weapons ever...one guy gave his Nob a ripped out of the ground street sign as a bigchoppa lol.

I used the musician Orcs as Runt Herders lol.. runts move to beat of drum or get hit upside the head . I did that mainly cause i had a bunch of the grots laying around but no herder... cheap easy solution for me as i did not want to do much with my small ork army.
