the other day when I was using 6th Edition Army Builder to work on my IG list, I noticed something that is hard to believe.
When the Armoured Sentinal is chosen, and you go to switch out the weapons, it allows you a main weapon, (AC, LC, PC, H.Fl), AND the use of the Multiple Rocket Pod.
Is that allowed? I mean an Auto Cannon and a MRP, or a Plasma Cannon and a MRP, or even a Las Cannon and a MRP. It sounds to good to be true. Is it a glitch in the 6th edition update, to where my opponents would cry "foul!" or is it allowed? I would love to know!

It's a glitch. They probably tried to add the FW rocket pod option and accidentally added it as a separate weapon choice instead of an additional option on the main list. Sentinels can only ever have one weapon (plus the one-shot HK missile), the MRP is taken instead of the usual guns in the codex.

Software glitches are no excuse for not reading your codex.

Ahhhh, I did have the IA option on to be able to include a vulture. But it was a normal Armoured Sentinal I was using though.

Armored Sentinels are no different. The FW MRP option is an additional upgrade option for normal Sentinels as found in the IG codex, not a separate unit type, so it appears on the codex Sentinel options.

This is purely a glitch, and a reason why you should always read the rules rather than trusting army-building software to get it right.
