Hey everyone looking to want to add some blood knights to my vampire counts and there is no way im going to pay the riduculous price GW wants for them. Looking around i noticed the Morgul Knights from the Lord of the Rings game and am wanting to do a conversion on them. Now I havent really done much conversion work before and was wanting to know if anyone has any good tips or see anything that would be a must to convert them. Also if anyone knows anyother models easy to convert for blood knights that would be very helpful.

I have some morgul knights, and being 25mm, they are a lot smaller than blood knights. Think an old D&D miniature compared to a gw space marine. It is not an outlandish difference, but still, your cavalry will be quite small. As of converting, there is not a whole lot of work to be done. The armor, and skull faces are almost the same. Maybe just equip them with different shields (vampire counts symbols), but they already look pretty similar

The elven dragon knights can be decent conversions if you make them look evil. It's something I'm looking at doing myself

Thanks for the info Sgt. Kell good to know they are much smaller. Think im going to give what lazz said a go. They do look kinda close and will be nice to mix in other races that have succumd to the undead ranks.

Just make sure they look different to dragon knights in a way other than the paint scheme and they'll look fine
